Not only do I love my doctor for listening patiently to my questions and helping me find real solutions, they also helped guide me through the complex health care system until I got the coverage I needed from the Marketplace. Been trying to get the NP to do a peer to peer review for my CT since July! She claims she knows nothing of the request however her staff who handles insurance says otherwise and so does Mountain View Medical. Now yet again I am waiting for her to do her job and stop passing the blame game onto others or saying she never heard anything or sees any notes from her staff. My daughter Skyler and i have been seeing Dr. Lakra for a couple years now and she's an awesome doctor and I will never change doctor for the both of us. Skyler loves her to death and always enjoy seeing her doctor.
I have been seeing Dr. Lakra for a few years now. Saw her today and as always she is such a wonderful person as well as a great doctor. She listens to every concern you have and always has an answer. I also saw Dr. Thompson for a sick visit when Dr. Lakra was off and he to is a wonderful doctor. I love being a patient at Foothills Community Health Care - Clemson. I visited the Clemson location for the first time about a week ago. I loved Dr Lakra. She was kind, she listened and gave me some great advice. It is very frustrating to feel rushed when talking to a doctor especially when in concern of prevention care. Dr Lakra was different. She was eager to listen and then she offered advice that I have been following. She has also called back with results since my visit. I am really happy that I found this place. This is a money making business instead of a doctors office. They will not return phone calls. My husband sees them as a family physician and they expect him to pay for a doctors visit every 3 months for the physician to see him just to refill his prescriptions (every other family physicians office does this on a yearly basis) Example- he was just seen by the physician less than 2 months ago and this week he needed a refill on meds that he has been taking for years and the doctor said "no refills without an appointment" Poor... read more
