Blue Ridge Half Marathon 2025. Race is well organized and supported by the local community. Challenging race with plenty of elevation gain as well as loss.
BR Half 2025 was my first time running it and it was HARD! BUT...as a race, I was impressed with how well-run the entire experience was. I have no complaints and, now that I've forgotten how sore my legs were for days after, I'm signing up for next year's half!
Loads of fun and challenge, great support. Beautiful interesting course with a lots of elevation change.
You will read this race is HARD! You get to choose your HARD! Yes, there are hills, but the crowd support even in the hills is priceless. And the ladies at the STAR truly let you know how proud of you they are for reaching the top! Then you descend down the mountain with the most beautiful views! This year I did the 10k but next year I’m going for the half! Come join me!
