Had to have second surgery on foot to fix what was messed up in first surgery plus fix what was wrong first of all
Spent over a year trying to heal a callous so I could have hip surgery! Was sent to a foot surgeon at St. Luke's in Duluth, MN and found out the only way to heal the callous was to surgically remove it because it was attached to a bone and after missing my hip surgery because it had burst open again I was happy to finally get it healed in 2 weeks. I can’t say enough good about Dr Samuel Elsner, and the whole Foot and Ankle Clinic staff! They are amazing!! I had 2 bunion surgeries this year, with the 1st foot being done in March and my second one in August. My surgeries took place at OAKLEAF surgical center in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. I was well informed of what to expect with both procedures, and both surgeries were a complete success! I had heard so many horror stories on how this was the worst procedure ever!! Apparently the owner believes that a complaint is whining and will hang up on you after you shut down her manipulative tactics while calling her out for getting emotionally involved in an unprofessional manner. Dr. Mack (male) has a rotten bedside manner besides. Too bad 0 stars isn't an option.
When going to Foot and Ankle clinic I was treated with positive, caring staff. When bringing up my concerns to the doctors about my bunion they found ways to help me. They provided me with care to not only be comfortable but to also help me continue to be my best as an athlete. I highly recommend anyone to come here for care, and I can guarantee that you will be treated amazingly.
