Went to see Dr. Rubiano for a second opinion. He told me exactly what I wanted to hear. I needed surgery but wasn’t pleased with the first doctor’s surgical route. After doing my own research, as well as having had the same procedure on the other foot, Dr. Rubiano’s surgical approach was the same as I had researched and had on my opposite foot. Highly recommend!
It is VERY difficult to find a parking spot in the Lewis-Gale lot and cars are lined up for the valet. Also, for people who have problems walking, it is quite a trek to get to the clinic front door and then to the dr. office. Dr. Rubiano is very nice.
Very mixed review. Dr R was great, the staff was great. 5 Stars there. I'm sure I got good care and help. BUT! Without realizing what was going on, the office sold me a walking boot for $750. I did not know it was $750 until I got the bill. It was poorly made, did not last the 5 weeks I was supposed to wear it. I ended up paying $250 of the cost out of pocket. Always friendly, competent and knowledgeable. My previous podiatrist in Warrenton recommended Dr. Jensen and I couldn’t be more pleased. The organization is a credit to Roanoke’s medical community!
