The original owner, Mr. Don King hired me to work at the Monticello Food Mart one summer. Julie Newmar "The Cat Woman" from the Batman TV show pulled up in a Rolls and asked for a knife to cut wild flowers beside the store. I was very surprised to see how tall she was and she never looked down to see that I had dusted the bottom shelves in the store. Foods is an asset to Charlottesville.
DO NOT TRUST THEM! HORRIBLE! BE AWARE when you set up an account to make life easier !You will loose thousands to their NEGLECT by some young blonde kid who calles himself a MANAGER.... JOKE! who knows maybe he allowed his friends to use (STEAL ) on my husband's account and they wont step up and take care of this very serious issue. Not to mention the attitude we use to endure by the oriental manager woman that use to work for them. Another child !!!!! We get more respect and honesty from our students .. way too old ........... read more
Food of All Nations This store is absolutely amazing. The prices of imported items are, while slightly higher than what one might pay for a rough American equivalent, still cheaper than the same imported items that I've found in "normal" grocery stores. Best of all, if they don't have that amazing Brie that you had in Lyon three years ago and have craved ever since, you can put in an order and they'll get back to you in a few days and let you know what they can get and when.
Foods of All Nations has a 4.6 star rating with 506 reviews.
