I am so thankful that we have Food Matters here in Brevard! It is such a fresh alternative to all the Big grocery stores in town. The grass fed and pasture raised meats are wonderful! They taste so much better than the typical corn fed and other grain fed meats. The prices are very competitive and they run specials quite often that are better prices than ingles and other stores on a variety of products. Nice clean place with a good selection of items. Their bulk items especially are nice. You can save tons of money buying spices in bulk by getting only what you need. Friendly staff too, always willing to help. Highly recommend this store!

Shopping in the Hickory area and came across this store! Walked in and found some amazing items. They have such a great variety of fresh everything! Local is definitely the way to go. Excellent staff, clean store, and great location!
I'm new to the area and am stoked to find this store! It has just about anything a vegan or vegetarian is looking for yhat they can't find in the local stores. Awesome!
Absolutely the WORST steaks I've ever gotten anywhere. Looked at the produce and most of it was rotten or about to be. 20 dollars a pound for ribeyes that were so tough that you couldn't cut thru them. Went to BiLo and got two great well marbled steaks that were wonderful for 10 dollars cheaper. Never going back. Don't waste your money.
This store is full of amazing treasures-the best beer and meats, healthy, delicious sandwiches, fresh roasted coffee beans, organic and local produce, bulk goods, vitamins, tons of gluten free items, and so much more. To top it off, they have the best employees ever!
