Food Mahal is a family-run gem in Regina. Mom and pop work there themselves, and the servers are polite and friendly — the whole place gives you a true home-cooked meal feeling. The yellow daal and saag are outstanding, honestly the best I've had in Regina. The owner also sent over a snack platter to try, on the house — it had bread pakora, but the spring rolls were the real highlight. Service is excellent, and they'll even customize your tea to your taste. Highly recommended.
I had a disappointing experience with this Restaurant due to repeated pricing issues. Today I was charged $31 for an order that should have cost $24. When I called to ask about the difference, I was told the prices had changed early morning. This isn’t the first time this has happened. Whenever I question the price, I get the same explanation.
