Food Hall TO - this look like a food court, but not a traditional one. You don't walk over to the store and order, you use the app to order. And you "borrow" the containers for up to 30 days
I support what this place stands for but the execution is just not really okay. The food is hit or miss, some items are better priced than others. Wait is honestly way too long. I know the workers tried their best, but some places are not open at the listed hours, while others ran out of dishes before 1pm, there were also places with 30 min waits that should probably be advertised
This place has always been on my radar after seeing such great reviews for the food hall. So I was excited to try this place out on a friday afternoon. I ordered the duck confit and fried fish bao from Momo Bao and was expecting a delicious lunch. What i got was the complete opposite of that. To start off, the total prep time for this order was close to 30 minutes, which is simply outrageous for this type of order. Visited on a Friday lunchtime, entrance was by side of building (able to leave building in front on Yonge Street). New looking facility with a number of independent food outlets. With only a few patrons there was plenty of seating.
This food Hall is accessible from the office entrance on Yonge. They have changed their concepts a few times and now it seems to be small business opening small stalls like Kanto by Tita flips, Nozomi, and more stalls to come. They still have their most popular Momo and Bao stall and coffee one.
