I came here from Texas 2 years ago and the day we left Houston our truck w/everything we own in it was stolen got here with clothes on backs. They were amazing, compassionate and extremely helpful. 🩷

We were excited to bring a group of 15 volunteers to serve. Unfortunately, in the days leading up to our scheduled shift, we were unable to obtain confirmation despite multiple emails and phone calls. When coordinating a large group, timely communication is essential. The lack of response created uncertainty and made it difficult to properly prepare our volunteers. We truly value the mission of the Food Bank and hope they can strengthen their communication process for volunteer groups going forward.
