Best resturant in Jacksonville! Outstanding food prepared expertly. We love that the menu changes all the time. The Saturday dinner is hard to describe and it is available in this small town. This is a must try place in EastTexas.
Memorable!! Exquisite!! An amazing experience you'll not forget. The history and origin of the fish, the homemade sauce, ginger, every single detail is there, for you, the guest, explained as the chef prepares your food in front of you. Only 8 seats creates intimate dining, where you can hold a conversation. The restaurant is beautiful and Chef RJ knows his stuff! I'm already planning my next visit. Thank you RJ!!!
This spot is surprisingly (no offense, chef) excellent. My wife and I went for the Omakase, and I believe it's one of the best dining experiences we've ever had anywhere. I say it's surprisingly good, because you really wouldn't expect something like this to exist in deep East TX. We've had sushi in various places all over the country, and Food and Table is not just good for East TX, it's just good. Period.
