I have been a patient of Doctor Fong for almost 30 years. I can't imagine having a better doctor. His availability and level of personal care is something I'll very likely never replace. It seems clear that his business model is not the trajectory for the health care industry and we will all be worse for it.
I have been seeing Dr. Fong for over ten years. Every time I’ve gone in, he listens to what I say, and immediately has a response to what is likely going on. I appreciate that he literally explains whatever the body is doing with whatever ailment it may be and exactly how it works. I like to know the why and how, and he always provides that. Our entire extended family has seen him for thirty years. He’s highly respected and known by peers and community. Fast efficient and empathetic. Lucky to have him
Shabby office desperately in need of upgrading. Doctor sometimes rigid and unwilling to listen. Small practice does an excellent job arranging for coverage when MD out. Generally able to make same day appointments if you call first thing in the morning. Super helpful for sick kids. Office staff are dishonest and lie about returning calls (they don't).

Horrible experience. My family started on WHA on 8/1/16, we were assigned Dr. Fong. My daughter is sick and I called to make an appt. I was told, before I could proceed with an appt, I would have to give personal information to be presented in a morning meeting to determine if Dr. Fong can take us on. I was assigned to Dr. Fong! I know Dr. Fong is receiving monthly capitation money from my ins as he is assigned as our PCP, but he will have a "meeting" to see if I am worthy of his care. Degrading
Dr Fong always is helpful and listens to anything his patients have to say. He always call to explain any test results. I would recommend Dr Fong to anyone for a family Dr.
