Dr. Barnes is hands down the best PCP I've worked with in the 14 years I've lived in the city. As far as I'm concerned, he will remain my GP for as long as he's practicing within the five boroughs. I feel very fortunate to have become his patient, as I feel I'm finally working with someone who listens to my concerns and is actually attentive to my care.

On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, I visited The Summit Urgent Care due to severe pain on my left side. I was diagnosed with diverticulitis, cholelithiasis (gallstones), chronic pancreatitis, and hepatic steatosis (fatty liver). Urgent care recommended I see a gastroenterologist as soon as possible and scheduled me an appointment with Dr. Lipsky for the next day, Wednesday, November 12. Very rude and impolite. Spent less than 5 minutes with me even though I was dealing with life altering hives. Didn't even try and recommend another doctor for me to see, didn't ask for tests, nothing.

When I visited the facility in Berkeley Heights for my Audio test and ENT appointment, I arrived 10 minutes late. At the reception, I informed the staff of my delay, and the receptionist assured me it was fine. However, she then sent me directly to the ENT without acknowledging my scheduled audio test. Dr. Patel was recommended to me by a friend. He takes a more conservative approach and gave me cortisone shots until they were no longer effective. I felt completely confident about his expertise and before I had the surgery he kiddingly told me I would hate him for a week after because of the pain, but I never hated him and I never had a great deal of pain. My Husband & I became patients of DOCTOR N. DHARIA way back in 2010. The first visit to DOCTOR DHARIA, the next day I was in the hospital as I was 90% blocked on both sides. All my medical information is being looked at by Summit medical associates that also means front desk people . In my portal and in my health records anyone in the  office can read what is in your chart.  I feel that is a HippA violation only your doctor snd authorized medical staff not just technicians should have access to your private information. I received inappropriate treatment for cancer in my ear. I’ve tried several times to speak to patient relations leaving several messages with no return calls. This Group has fancy mission statements that are a joke. I had to find medical provider to treat my cancer.

Hey folks, Summit has great Ent’s but if you’re looking to get an MRI, come on, if the guy can’t stick a needle in you, that’s a red flag to put your brakes on.
