I have been using this contractor at my facility for many years now and i have always had a clean cut, knowledgeable electrician show up to do work for me. These guys show up early, work hard, and clean up when finished with a job. Their labor rates are reasonable, especially when i have had other contractors do work for me in the past and i must say that FOLKES can get more work done before lunch than what some of the other contractors i was using would get done in a day or more. I called to talk abou residential service. The lady I spoke with was RUDE with a tone that was completely unacceptable for a customer. She was quick to tell me that they charge $95.00/ hr with a minimum charge of $150.00. She was then quick to tell me they refuse to do estimates. They exist at my pleasure not me at theirs. I will be sure to let everyone know that Folkes Electric in Ashland VA is no one to work with.
