My wife and I just got back from a 3 night weekend trip to Savannah where we stayed at the Foley House Inn. We loved staying here. The location was great, we walked everywhere we wanted to go with no issues at all, and there was a nice park right across the street. The service was great, especially Chuck and Deedee, who were really great to talk to and super nice. And the room was very nice and comfortable with a large, updated bathroom. The look of the place is right but there’s stuff that needs spruced up. The breakfast was a total disappointment. I could literally get the same thing at a Best Western. I’ve stayed at several historic properties in Savannah and this is not up to par. Great location and nice young lady at check-in although a little slow to notice I was struggling with the steps. Unlike several others I would not return to this place
Elegantly appointed rooms. Felt like we stepped back in time and living the good life. Great view of the park and surrounding historic buildings from our balcony room. We enjoyed this place very much!
What a great experience! We have been to Savannah numerous times staying in a different B&B each time, never disappointed. The Foley House was a wonderful addition to our stays. The staff were so kind and welcoming. The house and room were clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable with a bonus courtyard sitting area. Love staying here. Had my first strange experience while staying in room 303. Firstly, that room is next to the back stairs and has a great little patio to sit at on those stairs, the room itself is gorgeous, spacious, and clean. The story about the body being found in the wall was supposedly found many years back during renovations, right underneath that room!!! Lol.
