Rustic yet still upscale feeling. Could sit and relax for hours. Delicious food and friendly staff. Worthy of the drive to get there.
Mushroom appetizer was great. Service was chaotic. We had called a week before and they said they didnt take reservations. Reservations would've made it less chaotic. Entree was pretty good. Catfish. The cornmeal breading was a bit too crunchy in spots (like inedible cruch), but overall good. Environment outside was beautiful. Hot as hell even though we chose indoors to eat. Will go back, but probably not with a party over 2.
Foglight Foodhouse is a really unique restaurant with great food, wonderful service, and a great atmosphere with rustic decor. Really cool place. Get there early, there's usually a line.
Picked this wonderful place for my birthday dinner. So glad I did! Chicken Louie was amazing, and the portions were just right. Server was very good, knowledgeable and kind. Can't wait to try it again.
We stayed in Rock Island SP for a week and visited here twice. Food was great. Service was great. The view of the river is awesome. Definitely recommend if you enjoy Cajun food. Get the Billy bread appetizer. Try to avoid the weekend as it was about 45 min wait for a table. During the week we were sat right away
