Focus uses the same tactics as Lifespring and other cult/cultish seminars. Group therapy that tears down to build up can work on well for some people, but not all leaders and volunteers at Focus are qualified to work with participants. It wasn’t called therapy, so there is no accountability. Expect private information to be used in the group to press you for details, and there is the possibility of second-hand hearing abuse done or received by other participants.
