First off I would like to provide this service with a 0 star rating. We hired Derek with Focus Renovations to repair our ceiling as walls were removed, whole kitchen redone and then add a knockdown ceiling. The transaction at the beginning was okay. However once the work was completed and I returned home to inspect is where it went downhill. There is/was a ton of chatter marks, waves, spots where clumps of mud were dragged and around the attic space zero knockdown effect as they clearly didn’t have a small enough trowel. We reached out for quotes from three different painting companies, but Derek from Focus was the clear winner. Other companies' quotes were cheaper, but we picked Focus because of Derek's professionalism. During the onsite visit, you could tell he was *really looking* at the condition of our walls, made lots of notes, took pictures, and spent a good deal of time listening to what we needed.
