This is not the Psychiatrist to see if you live with chronic illness & severe pain. He will not agree to see you for an ADHD diagnosis if you are having to take certain medications.
Was refused treatment due to another medication (which is essential for treatment of another serious condition) after waiting months for appointment, referral was ‘declined’ weeks beforehand. Incredibly damaging to both my physical and mental health, as I needed this diagnosis for my epilepsy to be managed and treated, so I can then get brain surgery for another seperate condition. I had my first visit yesterday with focus on mind. I was extremely impressed with the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out feeling extremely overwhelmed knowing I will be in good hands with this clinic.. dr manohar pai and his wife, even the lovely receptionist were very welcoming, understanding, and honest. I'm very thankful and look forward to follow up with my ongoing treatment here... absulute 5 stars
I have been in psychiatry for 12 on going years. Dr Manohar Pai has no understanding of mental health or schizophrenia. He dumped me in the base because he couldn’t help. He didn’t get my previous records of my former psychiatrist because ‘she’s a difficult woman’ so had no idea of what I’ve been through. And he still expects to be paid by my health fund for a 3 day admission. I do not recommend. English is not his first language yet I’m ‘incoherent’. I urge you to find a different psychiatrist than Dr Manohar Pai.
