Excellent competition pool. One flaw was a hole in the bulkhead that my pinky got stuck in in the 50 fly. I lost a second getting it out rather than ripping it off. The race wasn't that important
Start asking other local teams about FMC’s culture before signing your kids up here, and notice all the fastest kids leave for valid reasons. First day of practice, parents were told they could only watch their kids once a week; that we are to drop our kids off and pick them up. Hinsdale, Rise, Mavericks seem to have happier ex-FMC swimmers. The facility is so sterile that it has removed the joy swimming out of its own athletes.
