Great job, closing the open lap lanes leading up to hosting the IL State Masters meet during optimal hours adults can swim in after work. Not a “for my community” pool. Other natatoriums seem to accommodate community members and their age group team simultaneously. Pools built for communities have lifeguards and family swim hours.
Great, clean pool! They chage the pool to short 25 yards during short course in winter and 50 meters over summer's long course. Great place to swim, just make sure to check the website for open laps lanes before showing up.
Lovely facility for competitive swimming. We were there for the 11 to 12 year olds. The races were handled as if these kids were in the Olympics. Very, very nice.
FMC Natatorium...like always way overcrowded, struggling to find parking even if it's not STATE and it's just " another great meet " :)
My daughter started with FMC back in August because of all the great reviews, but I feel like it’s finally time to share my own experience. We signed up for private sessions so she could get the individual attention she needs, but that wasn’t always the case. There were times when the instructors would be chatting with each other while she just sat there waiting.
