I’ve been seeing Taran for the past six years, and he’s my go-to for any orthopedic injuries. He is one of the best manual therapists and acupuncturists I’ve worked with. As a martial arts instructor and bodyworker, it’s essential that I keep my body in top condition. When I’m able to see him early, he often shortens recovery time significantly with acute injuries. He has also helped me improve, and in some cases fully resolve, several chronic issues. He takes the time to explain what he’s seeing and gives me practical strate... read more

I cannot speak highly enough of Taran's work. He has tremendous capacity as a healer, and has helped me profoundly over the years. Most recently, I had an incapacitating hip injury that prevented me from moving at all (going to the toilet was an ordeal). I just know that I always feel better after a session with him. Recently I’ve started treating myself ... read more

I had a great experience working with Taran. I saw him for facial counterstrain, and it was very effective in relieving my foot pain. He is extremely knowledgeable about the body, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. I highly recommend him.

If you are looking for pain relief from a caring practitioner without drugs or surgery, Taran at Flying Needle Acupuncture is the place to visit. Taran has been helping me with my severe and chronic spinal condition some years now. I see him bi-monthly and these regular visits keep me living the lifestyle enjoy. I met Taran, some years ago while he was a practitioner at Duke Alternative Medicine in Durham, NC. This was after trying months of chiropractic therapy, seeing the spinal specialists and pushing away the recommendat... read more
