Mr. Townsend helped me and my family get my mother qualified for Medicaid when she had to go into a nursing home. She had too much money and we didn't know how to get her approved n our own. Mr. Townsend was incredibly knowledgeable and professional and saved our family thousands of dollars! His staff was always helpful and made us feel important to them. I would highly recommend Mr. Townsend to anybody who needs help with any elder law.
I wouldn't reccomended this firm. I had contacted several times to get estate planning done. Each time I was told that Mr. Townsend of Mr. Fluharty would get back with me. I desperately needed to get my this estate finalized. Unfortunately it was too late. I found the receptionist on the phone was very unprofessional and un-caring.
Mr. Fluharty and his staff did the best job for me and my daughter. They were very prompt returning phone calls and preparing paperwork and were very nice to us during the whole process. I am very pleased and would recommend him to anyone!!!
I met with Mr Fluharty concerning the administration of a trust written by this firm. I was told by the office manager that both lawyers would be able to answer my questions as they were both experts in trusts. I was the designated trustee of the trust they wrote for my uncle. When I arrived to get my questions answered, he gave me many evasive answers. Finally he admitted that he didn't know anything about Ohio trust law even though his firm had written the trust. Mr Townsend is very knowledgeble with the West Virginia State Laws governing the Elderly. He is the only one I would trust after talking to 5 other Lawyers, he was the only one that knew the ins and outs of the laws. Recommend him to anyone needing help with your parents or spouses estates, nursing homes, or protecting assets.
