I'm running a one man handyman services. I can provide carpentery service. Can definitely be a general contractor for larger jobs. I will no longer give free estimate. For locals 30 dollars estimate fee. For none locals. 30 dollars and a 1.25 a mile fee. All bids are given without materials included. If a bid is giving with the materials included material money is required to be paid up front.
