I've meant to leave a review, but was sidetracked (sorry!) I live in the area, but never visited before. I stopped in pretty late in the afternoon for a sympathy bouquet and they exceeded expectations. The shop and women were incredibly friendly and understood my vision (cheerful, with pastel colors). Flowers by the River did the floral arrangements for my brother’s wedding, and they did an absolutely fantastic job! From the first time we met with them, they were friendly, accommodating, and a pleasure to work with. It’s clear that Emily and her staff bring a genuine joy to their floral work, and their expertise and professionalism made a potentially daunting task feel easy and pleasant. So very disappointed with the arrangement that was delivered. Wildflower look in a glass vase. The water was literally green, not fresh! Three flowers came with broken stems. Droopy flowers. Arrived late Friday and thrown out Monday morning. Tried to call but shop was closed. I truly believe that it was because they were ordered through FTD and delivered 20 min away so the shop just thought no one would know and they didn’t care.
