Flowerchild Desserts was an absolute joy to work with! From the start, the cake tasting process was so fun—though, honestly, it was a little hard because every flavor was so delicious it made choosing tough! As a die-hard chocolate lover, I never imagined we’d go with anything else, but the lemon lavender flavor was so amazing that we ended up choosing it for two tiers of our cake. When I tell you there is nothing like a flower child dessert! I have had everything from her mini desserts, milk & cookie shots, and cakes! This was not the first cake I’ve gotten from her, I have tried many but Taryn is so great at the craft she was able to make a custom strawberry flavor for our wedding day. Flowerchild made the cake for my wedding back in February! Being a sweets guy I had some high expectations for the cake and Taryn with Flowerchild killed it! She was able to create a custom flavor and work with us on what we wanted it to look like. I would highly recommend Flowerchild not just for weddings but for any and all desserts for birthday parties, baby showers, etc.
We could not have been happier with our wedding desserts! After sampling the tasting box, we knew we had a winner. Taryn was easy to work with and is SO talented. She made a two tier cake and two different tarts for our reception; she created wafer paper magnolias for the cake to tie in with our theme. Our guests had nothing but rave reviews! I highly recommend Flowerchild!
