Love this place! Tom is a rare gem. He has great prices too. It is nice to be able to shop locally and help keep a small business going. Thank you for giving us an option that's not a corporate box store. If you don't see him, just holler. He's around.

The owner Tom is a great human being. He’s a real person and doesn’t pander to the lowest common denominator. At Mayflower Depot you’ll experience the difference between going to a big box store and visiting a store that is locally owned and operated. Your first visit you might not get the scripted hello and smile you expect from a franchise. But, if you are a regular you’ll find you develop a partnership/friendship with Tom that you’ll value. I do not recommend doing business with this business. On one occasion, the owner was preoccupied with digging mud out of his shoes and I felt he didn't want to deal with me at that time. Then this morning, I went there to find out how much soil I can get for a garden. I have the smallest bed truck and needed at least 4 or 5 loads at 15$ a load.
