I had a highly disappointing experience with the Florida Tongue Tie Institute in Palm Harbor. They failed to identify my son's severe tongue and lip ties (classes 3 & 4), which resulted in missed opportunities for early intervention. As a result, my son's lip tie has already impacted the spacing of his top teeth, which could have been addressed when he was just 2 months old, rather than waiting until he turned 1 year old. It is a good dentist. My brother is autistic and he has trouble functioning and he gets really freaked out but here he’s really really sweet and he understands what you’re doing and I love this place and it’s really nice really clean. They be careful on your teeth and I love it.
Dr. Maggie examined my grandson when he was just days old. She was very informat8ve and thorough. She took great care of my little guy and we decided, although he was not severely tied, it would benefit him in the future to have him released. The healing and stretch were easy. I recommend her to anyone in need.
If you’re on the fence about whether to have a lip or tongue tie released, you can rest assure Dr. Maggie will do a thorough exam and gives you an honest opinion. My daughter had a posterior tongue tie with various symptoms including reflux and we decided to have had her tongue tie treated. Our first visit with Dr. Maggie was for a tongue tie consultation for our newborn. Everyone was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome from start to finish. When meeting with Dr. Maggie she explained our options and was extremely thorough. It made us feel more at ease about the procedure if it was necessary. I couldn’t say enough good things about Dr. Maggie and her staff! We are so glad we found a dentist for our children.
