Just found out I need to pay a $129 "trip fee" to have my 4yr old leaking panels replaced even though they are covered with a 15yr warranty. Also, we stopped using the automatic temperature control system installed by Florida Solar East about 3 yrs ago bc it kept needing to be repaired every 3 wks at a cost to us (labor + parts). Did not heat my water, did NOT cut my electric bill. Leaks through holes they put in my roof - all over the place, and I can't get anyone to honor their warranty. I have to call Rockledge for service? And the girl who answers the phone has NO CLUE how to treat customers. None. I'd get my money back if I could! BUYER BEWARE - Google these people before you buy! BBB dropped them over their misleading, horrible practices. RUN, RUN, RUN AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!
I did, and BOY am I glad I did! Not only do they have a HORRIBLE rating, but my neighbor has had nothing but problems with their hot water heater! Can't get teh service department to return a call. Theyr'e ready to sue these crooks!
Looks like someone is trying (poorly) to clean up their awful reputation. But, why wouldn't they go to Ft. Lauderdale "Michelle"? Their own website shows an office in POMPANO BEACH! http://myfloridasolar.com/about-florida-solar-heating/ I smell a RAT!
This company is awesome! I was skeptical about solar but I am pleased.
I reviewed this company before my 2010 install with flaseia and the Florida Solar Energy Center and they had nothing but huge praise for this company. I also know they dont do work in Fort Lauderdale because my son lives there and has a pool that needs to be heated.
Thank you Florida Solar, my JEA Electric bill has gone by more than your company promised, AND! I got a great tax credit on my return this year, I got to pay my bills with the money I got from my credit, and because my electric bill is lower, I'm saving a ton of money. Who knew a solar hot water system could be so great! I'd recommend it to anyone here in Jacksonville.
It's not everyday that you run into a company that does what they promise. From the Sales Rep, to the guys that installed my solar system on my pool and my solar hot water heater, it has been a pleasurable experience. Not only is my pool great to swim in, but, my electric bill has lowered as promised! Good Job Florida Solar!
Beware! Thoroughly unreliable company! Salesman made unsupported rebate promises, installation of solar roof panel was negligent. Company didn't respond to multiple requests for leak repair; it has been several weeks! Procedures have been implemented to pull this contractor's license.
