I want to send a shout out to the Office staff to include Olivia, Audrey and Terry for their professionalism and courtesy during my many appointments. I have used a CPAP for, but it was a long time ago and it wasn’t good for my face because I have claustrophobia the lady that helped me with a sleep study. Her name is Anne-Marie was so nice and made me feel comfortable I was fitted for a mask and saw that it was smaller, and that the CPAP companies have made a Great change to the machines and equipment. I can’t say enough positive things about both the Bradenton and Sarasota location. For at least 8 years, providers have brush off my concerns. The first appointment I had with Kate Mueller, she immediately acknowledged and understood my concern, making me feel valid for the first time. She was extremely kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I had follow ups with Jeffery Vanderbilt, who is just as great as Kate. Both are welcoming, listen, and educate thoroughly. Dr.McConnell is a wonderful sleep specialist. I hav central sleep apnea and severe RLS. I have dealt with these problems for 40 plus years. I have felt I was in more competent and caring hands. His staff exhibited the same professionalism and caring. I recommend him wholeheartedly.
Unfortunately, my experience with this practice has been disappointing. At first, things seemed promising — the appointment process was efficient, and wait times were minimal. However, from the very beginning, it was clear that their focus was heavily geared toward diagnosing sleep apnea, with little attention to other sleep-related issues.
