Context: I have only been twice, initial assessment and for a follow up (note: already been assessed as having severe SA at a rate >70 incidents per hour via a home test). I've been going to Florida Sleep specialists for a couple months now. Im using a cpap machine and having some struggles with getting good sleep. I went today for one of the follow up appointments with Mandy Poginy. She's amazing kind and very understanding of all the difficulties that go along with the cpap machine. She has given me more options to moving forward and I look forward to getting better sleep. I definitely would recommend this place.

Do NOT recommend the Bradenton office! It's a money grab. I had a sleep apnea diagnosis and older cpap, but moved here from out of state. My primary referred me to this group. At 1st visit, Dr. said they 'couldn't get sleep study results from my prior provider' and required an at home study. Next visit/co- pay was to tell me the test produced no results. The third visit/copay was simply to tell me I needed an overnight sleep study. I stopped going. Today they called to schedule another visit, not for the test, but to see a ... read more

The staff at the Sarasota office are efficient and knowledgeable. It’s not a chore to go there; the wait times are minimal and the medical practitioners and support staff are kind and helpful. I highly recommend them.

I have had excellent experiences with Sarasota Sleep Specialists. Their office staff is personable, friendly, and efficient, unlike many medical offices in the area. I met mostly with the PA, Andre Gomez, and only once with the doctor. Mr. Gomez is terror; knowledgeable, patient and caring. I’ve had good results after working with this group for over two years. My sleep habits are much- improved.
