DO NOT EVER GO TO Florida Prosthodontics. If you look at the reviews, all the good reviews were from over a year ago. It is no longer Florida Prosthodontics. The practice has been sold to a Corporation. I made an appointment in February to meet with a Prosthodontist to discuss the possibility of having implants. There was no real discussion or explanation of whether I was a good candidate and what would be the procedure. I took my sister here to have dentures made for when she had her teeth out. Dr Ramon was great with doing all the things that needed to happen. When she had her teeth out by the oral surgeon she was supposed to to have her teeth available and they were never sent over by this office. It took us almost a week to get that taken care of. Then for 2 weeks we tried to an appointment made for her to go in and have her dentures put in and they never called us back (we later found out there was a problem at the office)Now we just fo... read more
I saw Jennifer Somray in the Merritt Island location to have a denture made it took to tries to get it right then the attachments didn't hold it in properly. After numerous visits and trying several different parts she had no solution. They charged me almost $1000.00 for attachments that didn't fit, I returned the attachments, but they didn't refund my money. I am filing claims with every agency that handles situations like this. Be careful with this kind of practice.
Place is horrible went there for a dental appointment and I was sitting there for a few hours waiting for my 1pm appt to see a doctor to get help with my teeth. I Was told specifically to be there at 1pm when I ASKED the office to show up around 2 but i wasn’t seen until 2:30. 1pm set appt to 2:30 being seen by a dentist is horrible time management by the dentist and office in general. I went to here for my implants to be made. Originally Dr Schmid was the doctor who worked there and helped me. He switched to a different location and they were very vague and unwilling to give me his information when I went in last week for a check up. Yesterday one of the teeth chipped, I called this morning and because the original doctor who did it wasn’t there they wanted to charge me an astronomical amount.
