My wife and I spent our life savings on a modular home from Florida Modular Homes, hoping to build our forever home. Unfortunately, the experience has been devastating. During delivery on March 17, 2025, we personally witnessed the home strike a hillside, causing visible structural damage — bent steel chassis, slanted walls, and cracked windows. If you buy from Florida Modular Homes make sure that you are in within their area. They do not have crew that will travel, even though we were told that wouldn’t’ be a problem at the time of purchase. This resulted in our job being 'squeezed 'in with contractors more local to us at the last minute, These contractors already had busy schedules, so we would have no activity for weeks on end and maybe if we were lucky a few hours a week. Buyer beware! We purchased a home 01/2020; cash deal. Our experiences after delivery, set up AND the final cash payment of the home were so unprofessional that after 6 months of trying to get Florida Modular Homes to fix problems caused by THEIR subcontractors, we ended paying plumbers, electricians, locksmiths, etc. to fix the problems. .
