Nice place to stop when driving down hwy#1 and to learn about native birds. Donations based and Donations help with wild bird rescue
Birds were well taken care of. Staff were knowledgeable. Smaller place not too big and not a lot of walking. Wheelchair accessible. It was a nice stop off the main highway.
Plenty of reviews already capture what a great place this is, but I wanted to especially mention that it’s really nice for young children. We struggled a bit finding good activities for both adults and our 20 month old toddler around Key Largo but she loved this and so did the adults! Harry Harris Park across the road is a nice complement with a play park and picnic benches and (rocky) places to paddle
We stopped by on the way back from the keys it was a good 30-40 min walk to explore some wild rescued birds
