Terrible service to those with people who need more serious guidance. A few months ago I came with need of guidance of recent PTSD episodes, and was provided with being not taken seriously, which only made me worse. Beyond disappointing. Today I called the advertised “24 hour service” hotline number, only to be told an automatic message now no helpers are logged into the call line. I called an hour later, same message.
They say "Panthers Care," clearly they could not care less. They are underfunded, dysfunctional, unprofessional and quite happy to stay completely oblivious to all of this.
i guess it's fine if you're just having a bad day or something. if you have a condition/suspected condition or you had a serious life event happen and need actual help, they don't wanna deal with you at all
CAPs has helped me in my lowest lows. I had to try out several therapists to get to the one that worked best with me and my needs so don't be discouraged! They offer great group therapies like trauma work and great individual therapists.
