We did the AI ghost bar tour and we stopped by to go to the Mermaid Bar but it does not open till 6. The hotel is beautiful and old. This would be the place to see ghosts. The garden out back is beautiful and has a heritage oak. With a look.

This place has an excellent location, and the historic building certainly has charm. that said, it is in a state of disrepair and is pretty dirty. We stayed on the 2nd floor: decking was bubbling, cracked, dirty and there was water pooling everywhere including right outside our room which my wife slipped on. you can tell its been sitting a while as its green and slimy. the grounds are not kept up.. there were roaches both in our room and in the breakfast dining area. our room felt damp and smelled really musty. our room had ... read more

We arrived at 11:10am for brunch for 4 and did not receive our food till 12:40pm. 1.5hour wait for it. We were sitting for 10 minutes before our waitress greeted us. She said they were busy but we counted 1 table of 20 1 table of 12 ~5 tables of 5 or less people. A table of 5 who arrived after us received their food before us. Our drinks were refilled once in this period. They are empty for our meal. She did however not charge us for them which was nice.
