If they are not able to get your blood with the blue 21g needle ( light blue and thin) and the next person that’s tries gets a bigger needle ( probably 16g) refuse. They are just try to poke anything and get blood. My arm has been hurting for 2 weeks and fatigues holding light items in my left arm. Also it doesn’t make sense to go from a small needle to a big needle if you are having difficulty finding a vein or if the person is dehydrated.
