FGCU has a horrible horrible orientation . They label it as an orientation for parents and students. They alienate the parents from the student. All the parents get is an advertisement about us paying for our students to live on campus for $800 a month and how we should put $3,000 towards a meal plan. The orientation is two days and it is mandatory that your child spend the night in student living which is then an advertisement to the student as well. The clincher is that you have to pay over 110 dollars(for the orientation)... read more
