Waited over an hour along with every other person in the waiting area. Oh, but I better be here 30 minutes early to fill out paperwork. Nurse came out an hour and fifteen minutes after my appointment to tell me the Dr is running a little behind. Yeah I know. Didn't think it would get worse, but it did. I don't know where to begin here. I want to say that Dr. Shek cares about her patients, but in the whirlwind of rushed decision-making from the first (and only) appointment in her office, I felt like a dollar sign, not a human being. I didn't fully realize how manipulative Dr. Shek was until *after* the results of the Endoscopy (cancelled the Colonoscopy scheduled 1.5 weeks post-endo—I'm 30 and have a high probability of abdominal adhesions after multiple abdominal surgeries.
