After being treated so badly by Shands doctors, I was really afraid and hesitate about seeing another specialist. I’m happy and grateful that I made the decision to come here. The doctor, as well as the nurses, listened to me and took the time to run the tests to see what was really wrong with me. Something that Shands refused to do for years. I thank all the staff here for being amazing staff. I appreciate you all.
Had a terrible experience with Dr. T. they over flushed my IV and left me in pissed clothing waiting for my transportation to arrive for over an hour and they did the upper GI 3 times before sending me to a specialist. However I have now seen Dr. D and he is amazing and gets right to the matter of resolving the issue not just treating the symptoms.

Bad experience! Anyone wanting a colonoscopy should not go here. I had a large mass that was found in my colon, and they wanted me to wait 40 days to get the biopsy results. I called several times and got the same answer: “Dr. Thanawala is totally booked and her first available appointment to see you to obtain your results will be in 40 days.” Obviously I made other arrangements and am seeing a surgeon ASAP. (The larger the mass, the greater the chance for cancer.) No one should experience this roadblock in obtaining good me... read more
