At the FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH in Hudson on Denton Road, I did not have a long time to wait. I was greeted by a staff of only a few minutes after my arrival. I was weighed, my vital signs were measured then I was seen by my new PCP, who I was anxious to meet and talk to. I was told about my lab results and given an encouraging response and told to keep up the good work!
In a time when it feels like so many people are burned out and just going through the motions, the staff at the Hudson WIC office are a breath of fresh air. From the moment we walked in, the energy was warm and welcoming. Every staff member had a smile, and their kindness felt 100% genuine.
