Stopped in for some general information as I was unclear what route I wanted to go with replacing my carpet and needed guidance. I was looking for some comparisons in the most general terms and the gal asked if I had a budget and the truth is I don't have a set budget but I do need new flooring and am ready to buy. I have seen many renovations handled by Florida Decorating Centers and they do quality work, on time and on budget. Their showroom offers many idea generators.

Great Company! Florida Decorating Centers Inc does impecable work in every aspect of their business whether it's a simple flooring install or an intricate bathroom/kitchen remodel. Having been in business for almost 40 years their reputation speaks for itself.

I had a great experience doing business with Bruce and Florida Decorating Center. He is an ethical and honest businessman and his staff do great work. I would enjoy working with them again.

Horribly overpriced. Charged for every nail and screw times 3. Disorganized, stubborn, doesn't listen to what you want, never clues you in on what procedures will be or what to expect, swaps out products without saying anything hoping you won't notice, subcontracts most everything so be your own contractor and save money, counts on customer naivety and inexperience to take advantage of costs, nice on the surface but don't let that fool you. Would not advise employing them.

Excellent end result. Owner a perfectionist & very nice to do business with. His office staff are very pleasant people, too. 6 workmen on job for various stages, all very pleasant. One very lazy and not too swift. He had to redo everything he touched because he either didn't ask what I wanted or did it wrong and I caught it. There was an extreme lack of communication and organization throughout the project. I never knew when anyone was coming to do what and no one bothered to check to see if everything needed was on the site... read more
