Florida Cancer Specialists is a great place. I'm under the care of Dr. Marisabel Hurtado and I've always received excellent care. From reception to checkout, I only have words of gratitude for everything they do for me. Everyone, without exception, is welcoming, loving, patient, polite, and provides excellent service. Coordinator Suzy's team is fantastic; every time I needed intravenous iron, they were sensational with me. I recommend this place!
The staff is friendly and the doctors seem competent, but the wait times are insane. Similar to another review, was referred to see a hematologist. First visit took 3+ hours, of which I spent maybe 15 mins getting my blood drawn and seeing the doctor (other 2 hours and 45 mins were waiting). Back for a follow up and have been waiting over an hour again already without being seen. Vast majority of patients are elderly and perhaps don’t mind waiting, or are used to it, or something? Hello, I just wanted to write briefly regarding my experience today (Friday). I just wanted to thank the nurses Shantae, Shanika, and the Medical Assistant CeCe for all their help today. I also wanted to thank Heather and the ladies at the front desk, who were also very patient and kind to me. I was a little nervous about taking some blood tests due to some of my health concerns and they all were very patient and allowed me to ask all my questions. Great service overall. The staff was friendly, courteous, and very efficient. Once I was seen, everything was handled quickly and professionally. The perfect outcome when going to the doctor.
Dr. Reddy is an exceptional medical oncologist and hematologist. He combines deep expertise with kindness and patience, he always taking the time to answer questions and explain things clearly. His calm and caring approach makes a challenging situation much easier. We recommend him. The staff is always kind, gentle and compassionate. Phone calls are answered in a timely manner. Even though we are in an unfortunate situation we are so fortunate to be in Dr. Reddy's and his staffs care. The Endlich Family
