As Dr Kumar of “Florida Cancer Specialist & Research Institute” approached retirement I was very antsy about changing doctors. His care and love for his patients had been more than I expected. I cannot say enough amazing things about my surgeon, Dr. Stein, and her entire team. From the very beginning, I felt cared for, respected, and truly seen. Undergoing a hysterectomy and cancer removal is something no one ever hopes to face, but having a doctor like Dr. Stein who is not only highly skilled but also compassionate made all the difference. Copay - know what your copay is. Was initially charged $40 when it should have been $25. They did refund when shown the info on insurance id card.
There is no better doctor.
First off, the people that work here are nice. The second part is not as great. I saw the nurse on a visit that was maybe 10 minutes long. I was charged $382 on my insurance and now they are chasing me and gave me a month to pay for $10!! After I already paid my co pay. Look up how much they are worth! And they harass a cancer patient for $10. I guess that billion isn't enough. Discusting. Last time I paid more you had to refund me. My next visit will be my last. I'll find a smaller place to go.
