Kindest people ever. Hard working and very thorough
I was recommended to receive iron infusions. I let the hematologist know that I would prefer oral treatment if the iron infusion was out of my budget. The financial coordinator quoted $50 per session for 2 sessions and ensured that I do not need to call the insurance company to verify as that is their job. After the infusions, I received a bill for $600. I have been a patient here for 6 years and I'm surprised that I haven't left a review, that's not like me. From day one everyone, to a person, has been wonderful and friendly. Mara, my nurse, is outstanding and it's a delight to see her each time! The other nurse I don't really get to see very often but the one time I did see her she was just as wonderful. Beware. There is a horrible lack of communication between Orlando Health (ACROSS THE STREET) and this Cancer Research Institute.
