I brought them a 1986 Boston Whaler Montauk 17’ boat that was basically a pile of junk with holes in the hull and badly damaged interior too. They completely restored the boat at least from a body shop perspective. It was more $ than I expected in the end, but the craftsmanship was good.
John and his staff were a pleasure to work with. Not only did they do an amazing job on my new non-skid deck but they also customized and fitted a new hard top on my 2005 31’ Contender. These guys are the best I’ve ever seen at color matching gelcoat for repairs, I can’t even see where the old chips were. We are the original owners of a 1987 Boston whaler 18ft outrage and it was in need of a major overhaul, we knew the original fuel tank needed to be replaced and they custom fabricated one for us, all the wiring was replaced and we had soft spots and gouges in the gelcoat from 36 years of use that needed repair and we also wanted a fresh look and added some color, John and his crew helped us with ideas and there craftsmanship is top notch! They even custom built a teak stern seat for my boat.
I have used Florida Auto and Boat Works for years and they have always treated me right. Last month I had them redo the nonskid on my 2013 Contender 32ST and it came out fantastic!!!!
