My husband was activated and deployed for military service and when I tried to keep my coverage that I have had for five years, they said too bad you must start all over again, no more benefits that I had spent the last 5 years accruing. Thanks for nothing! They know that you don't have any choice but to deal with their nonsense. So dissappointed in their treatment of the military family!
They do not have a sufficiently competent staff or systems in place to maintain coverage for individuals. Furthermore calls from call centers are politicized for manipulative purposes. This is a 20th century solution to healthcare which should be allowed to slowly slip into insolvency. Or rapidly by my preference.
Florida Blue is the worst healthcare I have ever seen. They do anything to deny your claims. Their app is horrible. The customer service doesn't even respond and they operate illegally. It's illegal to deny based on pre-existing conditions. I wouldn't choose this healthcare if I were you. They continued to deny my iron infusions, which I would die without because I had gastric bypass surgery 17 years ago.
Since FL Blue failed to update my PCP after 4 phone calls and two online requests, I was unable to see my doctor for an acute leg tear. I came to this location and finally got it fixed two days later. A month later, I needed to see someone because I need imaging for an urgent issue and FL Blue won't approve it. Extremely rude sales girl there with a terrible attitude! She said I'm not the only one here with aches and pains! After a medial meniscus horn posterior cleavage tear and I came in to switch my plan to a PPO! Than she started complaining about how she couldn't sleep since 4 a.m.?! Absolutely bizarre meeting to switch plans. Zero help!
