History Established in 1972. Florida Bike & Mower was established in 1972 but was originally called 'The Big Wheel'. The store/shop has had five owners over the years. We are lucky enough to have taken over in January of 2012.

Caveat Emptor; buyer beware! Wow! Do not let the word Bike in their name fool you! They cannot handle anything above a basic single gear bike or cheap ten speed. I stopped by because they are close by my home. I dropped my racing bike off for a tune up and honestly, I have never been treated worse in my life; on an aside note, this seems to be very typical in Central Florida now. New Ownership, New Good Feel The new ownership is great. Completely different from the review I read. I work in Winter Park and found them through an affiliate company with Orlando Estate Buyer (where I work in Winter Park). I took my leaf blower to them to fix it up. They are three weeks behind in orders (very busy) so I decided to take it and get it fixed anyway, and buy a new one so I could have one for work and one for home. Great Place for Bikes We visited this store when searching for some bike parts. They are right on the way to the mall and I just had to stop. Appears dirty out front but don't let that stop you. This place rocks when it comes to bikes, bike parts, and mower stuff. We always go here now. Very friendly people to help you.
customer I have had two experiences with the older gentleman at the counter, I believe he is the owner. I found him to be rude, and short with me on both occasions. I dropped my mower off on a Monday. I picked it up on Friday, and it was not fixed. I dropped it off on next Saturday, and he told me gruffly that it would be a week. Avoid this place at all costs The bottom line is, the owner, presumably the old man at the counter has the worst attitude and customer service skills imaginable. Do not take anything to this shop unless you want to be treated with disrespect and leave angry. Initially, I had taken a trimmer to have the fuel lines replaced. Just slightly after thirty days, I noticed the fuel lines were leaking again only after one use. I went back to have it repaired again. Congratulations to the new owners. Not only did we receive great service at a great price, but couldn't believe how clean the enviroment was and the fact that the people at Florida Bike and Mower didn't treat us like they were doing US a favor by taking care of our needs. It was a pleasure and we will be back and spread the word of new ownership!
