My son attended the Temple Terrace location for 3 1/2 years. The progress he made while at the Florida autism center exceeded our expectations. When he started, he was considered nonverbal and aggressive with the help of the RBTs and the BCBAs, my son is now fully verbal and no longer shows any aggression . My child has been potty trained here and has learned so much at this center! If you are looking for a center that can help your child get to a new level skill wise, please consider the Temple Terrace location. The staff from the RBT's, Receptionist, BCBA's and Director are transparent, dedicated, and down to earth. Additionally, we never have to worry about my child being mistreated by staff.

This staff is amazing and professional. As for the one star rating from “Linda Torres”, this is from someone who violated the privacy policy in a private facebook group for moms. The original post was about a mom wanting to get a 2 year old diagnosed with ADHD. The therapist was not the one who called the OP “borderline deranged,” but agreed with the sentiment of trying to have a toddler diagnosed with a disorder for a lack of attention span and hyperactivity. I am absolutely grateful to have found florida autism center. My son has been attending this center for two months now and the staff is amazing very communicative, supportive and inclusive. My son loves his RBT and BCBA and Prior to this center my son attended another facility and I have to be honest they did not have what Florida autism center has which is a supportive team, collaborative and professional. I would recommend 10/10.
