I've never seen another county or town to go as far to help their town like Florence AL. They allow you to leave a balance of $70.00 on your bill whiched helped me tremendously when I started living here. The people in charge are really helpful about giving a few more days. I see some reviews on here don't realize how flexible Florence Utilities is. But anyways I'm grateful for the whole staff. Very friendly and professional. God Bless Y'all.
You people that work here should actually be ashamed of yourselves for being so rude and unprofessional. They literally should just fire every single person there and restart with new people
They shut me off for non payment of $109! First of all, what utilities company does that for $109. I should pay nonetheless bc it's my bill and I get that. My problem lies mainly in that they sent a second bill for the next month and coupled the 2 mos. together with a due date of the 4/17/25. I say hey no problem I will just make the one payment. Then, last Thursday they came and cut me off. Told I had to pay the $109 to get it back on. I did. They said you MUST also pay $60 reconnect fee. I did. Kind of shady and I know no ... read more
If I could give a zero, I would. I had my breakers and water cut off at the main since I haven't lived in my house for the past 3 months and still had $400.00+ utility bills. They're crooked and if I ever moved back to Alabama, I wouldn't move where I had to have Florence Utilities.
If I could give negative stars for this joke of a “business” I would. The customer service is absolutely terrible and the “service” they’re providing is laughable.
