Smoke alarm had to be removed due to constant beeping. Garbage disposal didn't work and it smelled bad. Microwave didn't work. Handle on bathroom door broke off and silverware drawer handle broken. We have rented same condo #302 since 2013 and last 3 years always something. Also, previous years having trouble with patio doors opening and closing.
This condo complex is really aging. We have been staying here for the last 8 years on trips and this one will be our last. Our refrigerator was filthy furniture old and uncomfortable and old bathrooms and still charging 2 k for 4 nights. The only plus is how close to the beach it is but for my money I will upgrade to a better property next trip.
Bed Bugs
Bedbugs. Thats all Im going to say…
We traveled from out of state to stay at South Padre Island, but upon arriving at our condo, we discovered bedbugs. The island was completely booked, leaving us with no choice but to leave the same day we arrived and return home early. Our entire vacation was ruined. I’m incredibly disappointed that the condo wasn’t properly inspected before our arrival—something as serious as bedbugs should have been caught and addressed. We spent a lot of money for what turned out to be no vacation at all.
