Absolutely the worst emergency service I have seen in my life! I was dropping my mother off around 5:00 this morning to dialysis at DaVita on Pamplico highway. Another lady who was exiting her vehicle for treatment accidentally fell and hit her head on the pavement. She was totally dazed and profusely began bleeding from her head. We immediately called the ambulance as we kept her sitting up and they literally took roughly 30 minutes to arrive! Note the distance from the EMS location to the center is just over 2 miles! It took 30 min for the ambulance to arrive and we live just over 1 mi away from the nearest station. My mother broke her hip and was in terrible pain. My sister called 3 times asking where they were.they said they where unloading a patient at Mcleod. Our question is do they only have one ambulance? After the 3rd call they came but not an ambulance!!! Not till the emt said get one out here now did they respond!!! Wow
