We had a funeral for our mother a month ago and went back today to put a Christmas wreath at the grave. The flowers from the service a month ago were just thrown behind a wall at the gravesite. The grave plaque and the whole area was covered with leaves and we had to brush them away to find the plaque. Not what it used to be when we came as children to feed the ducks!
